At Prince Edward Primary School, we are working hard towards achieving the Silver PSQM (Primary Science Quality Mark) award.
Yesterday Mr Little wheeled a large blue box into our classroom. We were all curious to find out what was inside. When Mr Littl opened the box we discovered a set of microscopes for us to use. How exciting!
We discussed how to take care of the microscopes and how to use them properly. We looked at how to move the lens up and down to make the image we saw clearer.
We loved looking at the objects through a microscope and were amazed by the tiny details we could see. Our favourite thing to look at was the sugar, we thought the grains of sugar looked like tiny ice cubes.
