Abdullah and Jacob are a pleasure to have in class. They are hardworking and work tremendously as a team. Jacob and Abdullah regularly support each other’s learning by checking each other’s work and suggesting improvements. Well done boys – Miss Caudwell is lucky to be gaining such a tremendous team in her class next year.
Excellent Effort – Bronze – Lily-May Wagland
Lily-May has a phenomenal attitude to her learning. Lily-May can sometimes find her work a little challenging, but she always perseveres and puts 100% effort into all her learning and completes her work to the highest standard she possibly can. Well done Lily-May!
Excellent Effort – Silver – Karolina Jankowska
Karolina has been working incredibly hard in her literacy lessons this week, and has written an amazing biography about Mary Anning. Karolina made fantastic notes about the life of Mary Anning and used these notes to write a very informative biography. Well done Karolina, make sure you keep up your Excellent Effort!
Excellent Effort – Silver – Maria Amoabeng
This week in our maths lessons we have been continuing to look at Shape. Maria found this a little tricky at first, but she didn’t give up and she persevered. Maria can now identify, name and describe a range of 3D and 2D shapes and explain the difference between obtuse and acute angles.
Leading in Learning – Silver – Daniel Vacar and Harrison Musson
Daniel and Harrison have impressed everyone recently with their amazing attitude to learning. They are a pleasure to have in class. They always put 100% into all their learning and always complete work to the highest standard. Well done boys, Keep it up!
Excellent Effort – Silver – Sirrah Newton
Sirrah has been working incredibly hard in her literacy lessons this week, and has written a wonderful story about Mary Anning. Sirrah made sure she included everything she needed in her story and even drafted sentences on a whiteboard before writing them neatly in her book. Well done Sirrah, make sure you keep up this Excellent Effort!

Excellent Effort – Silver – Leon Simpkins
This week in our Literacy lessons we have been writing our own gladiator stories. Leon sometimes finds writing a little tricky, but for this piece of writing he was bursting with fantastic ideas. Leon worked really hard and made sure he met his target not once, not twice but three times in his writing! Well done Leon keep up this Excellent Effort!
Leading in Learning – Bronze – Karolina Jankowska
Karolina has been leading the way in literacy this week. Karolina has been bursting with incredible ideas for her gladiator story. She doesn’t keep these ideas to herself though, Karolina loves to share her ideas with others in the class and always offers tips to help others improve their writing. Keep it up Karolina.
Leading in Learning – Silver – Nevaeh Brown
Nevaeh is the kind of child that every teacher loves to have in their class. Nevaeh is always smiling and never fails to put a smile on Mr Little’s. She always puts 100% into all her learning and always completes work to the highest standard she can. Well done Nevaeh, make sure you carry on leading in learning!
