Once Upon A Dream

once upon a dream

This half term Sapphire class are going to be entering a poetry competition called Once Upon A Dream. In this competition we have to create a piece of poetry inspired by a dream we have had. This week, to really inspire our writing, we have created our very own dream catchers.

Dream catchers were originally made by the Native American people. Dream catchers are hung above children’s beds. The net part of a dream catcher is designed to catch any nightmares so that the children have peaceful, beautiful dreams.

Keep checking our blog to read the dream poems we create!

  1. I am looking forward to reading (and listening to) your poetry.

You know how much I like visitors so make sure I get lots of sneeky peeks as your poetry is developing!
